when carrying out zs reading on light pendant. Does it matter if the bulb is in/on?

cheers matt but im not too good at explaining things i understand that it is a live test so switch must be closed but whilst your doing the zs can the bulb be on. Wont cause any probs will it. Thanks again for your time

The Reading for ZS is up the Live(Line/phase) and back down the Earth(CPC)

as the bulb is connected across the Live & neutral...

I think you will find it has little or no effect upon you readings...

UNLESS its wired wrong.

Do yourself a little test a home.. Do Zs at a double socket outlet ...

Then do it again with a table lamp plugged into the other half of the double socket..

see how much difference you get! :|
