fair enough, you can check the MCS register for installers, or you could try finding a roofer who installs the panels / rails and do the electrics yourself.I don't fancy crawling around on roofs any more, but I'd like an idea of which makes of panel, inverter etc. to seek/avoid, ta.
Thanks binky. Do you know anything about Tesla powerwall?
correct, I used to be registered for those, but after trying to install the great behemoth of heavyness battery, I gave uo on them.Think you can only get a Tesla Powerwall via an authorised installer. They are probably the most expensive of all the batteries available.
It may have changed but I enquired about a Tesla powerwall in November for our system and was told it would be at least a year. They might have been pushing me to buy a battery they can get more mark up but don't knowThanks binky. Do you know anything about Tesla powerwall?
There's been an awful lot of supply issues due to COVID and shipping issues. The only batteries that have been reliably available for the last year are the expensive ones that nobody wants to buy....It may have changed but I enquired about a Tesla powerwall in November for our system and was told it would be at least a year. They might have been pushing me to buy a battery they can get more mark up but don't know
