Why is there a 3kW limit on the battery output? I have seen that and wondered if it was a setting or an equipment limitation.

Also, if I needed to shut the system down, I believe the correct order is isolate panels first, then link to fuse board, then batteries. Is that correct? I have some tiles being replaced and they’ve requested the panels be isolated.

It's set in the inverter and is not user accessible. Really annoying, I have the SPH6000 with same issue, it seems madness to me, I should have read the spec before it was installed.

You should have a panel isolator switch, just turn that off.

Yeah it’s a frustrating limitation. Especially given I asked about storing energy then running the house and was told there wouldn’t be an issue. As soon as the oven goes on and the air source heat pump, I’ll be over 3kw so drawing from grid. I think I’ll be raising this.

On the shutdown, the inverter got stuck in self check mode. So I had to shut it down again and reboot.

For anyone else, I did the following
Isolated PV, turned both batteries off by holding the button on the top, then isolated at AC.

For boot up, I did the reverse and left 30 seconds between each stage and it went back into normal mode within a couple of minutes

I had my system at one stage today running beyond the inverter ratings. The Growatt was at full power, the Victron (rated at 6kW) was supplying at 8.1 kW for about 10 minutes.
