Solis Inverter Testing

Hi All,

Just taken delivery of a Solis RHI-6K. I wanted to test if the unit was working correctly prior to installation so I've hooked up the just the AC-GRID but the unit is showing no signs of life.

Any of you know if it requires any ancillary connections before it'll operate or do I have a duff unit?

It won't work without DC input. There might be a way of overriding that, but I'm not aware of it. It will, however work with DC only as the inverters work off the DC

Thanks Binky...I had a look at the spec sheet and it said 120v start-up voltage so thought that maybe required. Thanks for confirming.

Will test it with some panels tomorrow.
