Hi,

Can someone let me know the formulas used for the questions below

7. Capacitors of 2uF and 8uF are connected in series across a 100V DC supply. What voltage appears across the 8uF capacitor ?

a) 20V

B) 80V

c) 100V

8. A straight length of wire moves through a uniform magnetic field. The e.m.f. produced across the ends of the wire will be maximum if it moves:

a) along the lines of magnetic flux

B) at 45

lol i will not lie to u matty but i have done this ages ago and for got every thing lol neva used it once part from sum cable sizes that is it lol

TBH I've forgotten most of those things...

But Q7..

Capacitors are DC blockers,, they will not act like a potential divider

the total capacitance of capacitors in series is the same as resistors in parallel (but for capacitors)
