School Stage is a successful, progressive company specialising in Lighting and Sound Installations within schools, community buildings and churches are seeking a skilled, well presented, confident electrician. The work will include installing power supplies, lighting control systems, theatrical and architectural lighting fixtures as well as data and audio cabling. This job provides good opportunities to learn new skills. Our work does not involve electrical installation every day and therefore we provide a varied working role within this opportunity.
Based within easy reach of North West London, the ideal candidate will be able to produce electrical installation work to the highest standards. Applicants must be able to work alone with minimum supervision using their own initiative or as part of a larger team. Installation experience in a variety of commercial/industrial settings, the successful applicant will be timed-served, skilled in working with a variety of wiring systems including S.W.A, trunking, tray, M.I.C.C, steel conduit, coaxial and network cabling. Current 17th edition with 2391 knowledge is essential for this role with special consideration given for candidates who already hold a C&G 2391/2392 - Inspection & Testing qualification. Prior knowledge of sound and lighting technologies will be beneficial, but not essential. However a keen interest to learn new skills and technologies is needed.
A positive customer experience is of paramount importance. The ideal applicant will speak English to a high standard and be able to communicate with our clients in a polite, friendly manner and able to represent the high standards essential for employees of School Stage. The successful person will need to be flexible with regards working hours when required as tight deadlines may necessitate overtime to be worked on occasions. A full, clean driving license is essential as this role entails travelling to and from the warehouse base in Wembley and sites in, around and beyond the London area. A company van will be available for the right candidate as travel directly from home to site may often be necessary.
This is a permanent role for the suitable person, offering an attractive salary following an agreed probationary period.

We are not going to rush into a decision and despite our ongoing busy schedule we seek a genuine person who likes a challenge to be appreciated and would be grateful of a full time position long term. Ideally we would like this position filled before September 2014.
We are not looking for freelance, sub contractors or agency thank you.
