Hello Chaps,

I have to quote for a bit of work in a swimming pool and was looking through the big red book trying to work out if i neet to use SELV or is a 30ma rcd ok?

I'm not sure of the extent of the job untill i see them, but want to have a good idea befor i go, I also need to get it spot on as i will more than likely part of my scam assesment.

bit more info needed... like that are you doing and what zones will the installed equipment be etc

I dont know the extent of the job untill i see them, some garbled message about a socket and light.

Pools have a complete section in the big red book just for themselves.

The mix of water and electricity sends shivers through the regulations.

If your stuck for any questions dont be afraid to ask, its better to get it right.
