Thanks The Sun, The Daily Mirror, The Express, The Rest Of You *'s...

And thanks the BBC, ITV, SKY, And the rest of the news channnels..

For scaring the * out of the British Public AND creating the RECESSION that exists today.............................

:(

you cant blame the newspapers for the idiots that read them.!

maybe you could start by thanking the english people for voting in a labour gov for the past ages that have done nothing but drive your precious country into the ground.!

I only say your as in the fact I havent lived here much and havent voted so dont have the right to claim it as my country on that basis, and that is why I am seriously considering moving away again, but times are based on my missus and my little one at present, but if it gets much harder then I will deffo go again.

but please dont blame the messenger for telling you what you have done is wrong.

Is'nt The Daily Sport a serious paper..... it was the only one that spotted the Lancaster bomber that had crash landed on the moon ;) now then whatever happened to the Daily Worker ; \

dont exist since you guys voted in the we dont need to LABOUR party.

daily benefits are more worthwhile for the lazy bas7ards.!!!!

Steps for someone who can't be bothered to vote you don't half moan about it! You had your chance to make a decision on how the country is run and gave it away.

I've heard all this before. I've recently finished delivering Electorial Registration forms where I live and the amount of excuses you hear why people don't fill them in is amazing! I would point out to you that people have died to allow you to vote. And funnily enough, the people who don't use that right to vote always moan the loudest about the government who got elected!

Put up or shut up.

I've never bothered to vote since leaving the army some years ago (only voted when in the army by proxy as we were basicaly told vote conservative unless you want to loose your jobs if Labour get in they'll make big defence cuts).

To me all the political muppets should have a go at some real work or even running a company before going into politics....for example a defence secretary who's never been in the forces ?

My viewit doesn't matter who gets in they all end up as selfserving clowns, who give what seem like high profile benefits/tax cuts to all, but on the sly hammer the honest hard working tax paying little man in the street.

All wasters & I tell them so when they knock at my door canvassing....that includes the BNP numpties.

RECESSION yes the media do have a lot to answer for, but so do those that have for the past 10 years lived beyond their means on plastic cards & now have run out of lenders to swap to & clowns that have included overtime payments on mortgage applications or even those crazy enough to take out a100% mortgage .

Just bugs me when GB & his cohorts are now seen as the saviours when some of this is down to his spending when he was chancellor (i mean who in their right mind sells off their gold reserve at a give away price.) mind you he's in the perfect job to cover up past cock ups aint he;)

As for his bright idea of lets spend **** loads more money to get us out of a recession........now call me daft but isnt that called living beyond your means in our world? it'll have to be paid back at some point in time so leading in the future to high taxes...people not having so much disposable income & not spending ....country falling back into recession.

My view of it all anyway.

I dont bother voting either:(

If you vote for the muppets it only encourages them:^Odont make no difference who gets in they are all out to feather there own nestGuiness DrinkGuiness Drink

Am surprised this government hasnt taxed making babies yet :^Othey tax everything else. This country needs a big shake up but nobody in power has got the balls to do anything about it.Guiness Drink;)

Have i missed something ?????

My accountant said we have been in it for 2 years

they just called it the credit crunch

I do agree with Mr Sworld - It's important to vote. People have died to get the vote for you.

Once our local election only put 3 labour candidates for 2 seats and I turned up and spoilt the ballot paper. The point is I got off my backside and counted as a vote.

You have no right to complain if you don't vote.

That's what I've tried to tell other people. Imagine an election where the 50-60% of people who don't vote actually did and spoilt their ballot paper! The amount of spoilt papers does get read out at the end of counting.

I would love to see a 're-open nominations' box on a voting paper but until that happens spoiling the paper is as close to a protest vote against the political parties as you are going to get.

The important thing is to use your vote. Not using it and then sitting at home in front of the TV and moaning about how things are run is pointless.

i vote me, admin admin2 and mr swold, and kme, and pache should become joint primeministers and sort this retchid country out, :^O :^O :^O
Good pland Badge!

Do you think we should bring along the Godfather - could be a useful member of the team ;)

I dont vote cos they wouldnt allow me to vote by proxy,

so that is why I stopped paying my tax in the UK as well.

doesnt anyone realise why so many people are leaving this country? apparently past couple of years has been largest exodus since the 60's/70's.

FFS, even the Poles have been going back home.!

and surely a labour gov is based on communism, except for the some are more equal bit, dont think the crunch will be bothering many of the MPs and their expense accounts and flashy houses, do you?

Why would you want to give someone else the power to vote for you? And that's not a very good excuse for not paying taxes is it? Hope you hold good private medical insurance, we wouldn't want you using the NHS without paying for it.

As I can't be bothered to type it all myself the following has been 'lifted' from another website:

Socialism and communism are ideological doctrines that have many similarities as well as many differences. It is difficult to discern the true differences between socialism and communism, as various societies have tried different types of both systems in myriad forms, and many ideologues with different agendas have defined both systems in biased terms. Some main differences, however, can still be identified.

One difference between socialism and communism is that socialism is mainly an economic system, while communism is both an economic and a political system. As an economic system, socialism seeks to manage the economy through deliberate and collective social control. Communism, however, seeks to manage both the economy and the society by ensuring that property is owned collectively and that control over the distribution of property is centralized in order to achieve both classlessness and statelessness. Both socialism and communism are similar in that they seek to prevent the ill effects that are sometimes produced by capitalism.

Both socialism and communism are based on the principle that the goods and services produced in an economy should be owned publicly and controlled and planned by a centralized organization. However, socialism asserts that the distribution should take place according to the amount of individuals' production efforts, while communism asserts that that goods and services should be distributed among the populace according to individuals' needs.

Another difference between socialism and communism is that communists assert that both capitalism and private ownership of means of production must be done away with as soon as possible in order to make sure a classless society, the communist ideal, is formed. Socialists, however, see capitalism as a possible part of the ideal state and believe that socialism can exist in a capitalist society. In fact, one of the ideas of socialism is that everyone within the society will benefit from capitalism as much as possible as long as the capitalism is controlled somehow by a centralized planning system.

Finally, another difference between socialism and communism is centered on who controls the structure of economy. Where socialism generally aims to have as many people as possible influence how the economy works, communism seeks to concentrate that number into a smaller amount.
