I paid mine a week ago.  I am a dinosaur, I still fill in a paper tax return.

Every other year they sent me a pay slip in January and I used to take that to the bank and pay it.  But this year no pay slip turned up.  I thought about trying to phone hmrc and say where is my pay slip?  then remembered the pain of previous calls to them.  So I googled and found a place to pay it on line.  I hope I have not triggered having to do the tax return on line by doing that.

I shall be doing my own return next year  (as opposed to accountant doing it )

Spoke to a computer guy yesterday whose year ends , like mine ,  on April 6  ...... he has submitted & paid his tax by the end of April .     Mine is usually in by December .
