Im about to go on the new 2382-12 course a week on Monday. I'm doing the 3 full day course. This will be to the new green book.

I have crashed my way thru college in the last couple of years completing the 2330 level 2 & 3 which I finished last July and I took and passed the 2391 just before Xmas last year.

By the way, the 2330 level 2 & 3 were both to the 17th.

Anyhow, my questions are this.

1) what is the pass mark required & from how many questions?

2) how tough is the exam compared to the 2330 level 3 and the 2391?

Its easy, if you look on the C&G website it gives you the breakdown of the 60 questions i.e.

Section 1 - 5 questions

Section 2 - 7 questions

etc etc..

the first 20 odd questions you shouldn't even have to refer to the book

That fills me with confidence, cheers

The theory on all courses have been quite reasonable so if it's not as hard as the level 3 or 2391, I should be ok

bha, if you have the 2391 then you will fall asleep during the 2382,

its open book, so if you can read and understand the basic principles of electricity using an index you will pass.
