120+ electrical fittings removed, but those grid switch boxes have been part labelled.. :)

(Doors, the Kitchen, the radiators, toilets (yep no toilet facilities and I'm 5 floors up)

there are 3 rings, Cooker, Immersion, Bathroom, 3 lights and 2 other circuits.

Have fitted all the sockets (36), stripped all the downlight/wall light cables ready for testing.

You could imagine my disappointment, when I tested the downstairs ring, the cpc is broken... :(

I can find no reason for this (unless I've missed something), but I can only think there is an 'hidden JB' so tomorrow if I cannot find it quickly, I'll split the ring..

It's going to be fun sorting out the grid switches.. :)

It's a good job that you have wheels on your new "Tool Box", Ext. :^O

Seriously though, I remember you saying that this job was coming up. Glad to see that you have it.

Best Wishes,

Admin.

Having worked most of the weekend, it was disappointing that the first ring is broken, there is capacity for 2 more MCB's on the board though

Furthermore 2 of the upstairs wall lights, have their wiring dropped into the wall voids:(

It's an interesting challenge though...

I'll keep you posted (might need some help..)

Kev
