As thought up by Mrs. KME.........

We`ve been having a bit of an issue this last week; getting the panels up in time to commission the system whilst there`s still enough light to fire the inverter. Two jobs this week, panels still going on at 5.30!!!!!!!!

For an array consisting of 16 x250W Sharp NU-R250-J5.....a pair of 250W metal halide floods, bolted to the scaff, helps the roofers see what they`re doing, and throws out enough panel volts to commission the systems.

(Mrs. KME accepts donations in lieu of "thanks"..... ;) )

I thought most members helped themselves to your beer as a thanks, Perhaps you need to add some wine to your beer fridge?

I've managed to avoid working by candlelight so far, but some low energy flloods, (or non-low energy floods) are on the shopping list. It is interesting how long the voltage stays high as light levels drop even if there is no 'welly' behng it
