Was going to google this but not even sure what "term" to search!

I have an old 10" netbook that I've been playing about with. Given it as the DC input jack was fried. Stuck the HDD in a USB caddy and gave that back to the owner. Bought a new DC jack and stripped the thing down.........still not there yet as a bit of a mission. I said this to the owner and they didn't want the netbook back.

I know I can use a lappy etc WITHOUT an HDD just like a big tablet by plugging in a Live USB but everytime I do so I need to re-enter the router password, set the keyboard to English and re-enter passwords for TEF etc.

Is there any weay I can "hard write" this info to the Live USB?

Cheers

yes, obviously it depends where your DL folder is,

when Ive done it Ive always made another folder on the desktop on the persistent side and redirected all my downloads there.
