Uk To Spanish Wiring Question

Hi there,

I'd like to connect a floodlight purchased in the uk, to a Spanish (or european) plug.

The floodlight has the typical 3 wire cable and the Spanish cable- 2 wires.

I'd like to ask, which of the three Uk wires - live, ground, nuetral should I leave out?

all 3 MUST be connected. you need a different cable / plug that does have all 3

I'm having trouble finding the same floodlights in Spain..

The flood light should be fine to work in Spain, and the correct plugs are available, go to a Spanish hardware shop and get one. As Andy says all 3 wires must be connected.  Not trying to slate you, but are you happy enough to connect it up?

thought euro cousins only used L and N and RCDs instead of earth, making earth redundant?

I believe most outlets are 2 pin with only a few put in that are grounded
