Undersized Protective Equipotential Bond

Whats the code for say a 6mm when now it should be 10mm?Obviously when it was installed it was fine.I know an undersize main earth is code 2?

The OSG gives sizes for bonding.

Not all bonding conductors have to

be 10 mm.

Section 4 of the OSG.

It is only a code 2 IF, in your opinion,

it could lead to danger in the event of

a fault.

Agree with Technician, I believe that the requirement to upgrade equi bonds to 10mm has been relaxed and now if criteria met then not necessary to upgrade. I guess they realised that it was not an easy sell to upgrade to 10mm and many installs would perhaps be left with existing bonds anyhow as customer wouldn't pay for it??
