On the re-wire I mentioned over on the other thead I had a few external accessories to fit;
bulkhead lights, decorative lanterns & socket outlets..
Parts of the outside walls were that pebble-dash bumpy render stuff...
which can cause plastic fittings to distort if you tighten them up to much!
A little tip I use is 1/2 or 3/4 inch tap washers as spacers between the accessory and the wall to accomodate the uneven parts!
they can be brought in bags of 100 from our friends over at S/F or all good plumbing merchants!!
Just wonderd if anyone else has special favorite tips for fixing or installing in tricky spots??? ?:|
