Hi Everyone,
I and twenty other people live on a park home site and each home is fed from a small 'substation' individually cabled from it. I am close to this sub and read 249volts from Flukemeter and AVO.
My neighbour down the road reads 247v and has a light dimming 'problem' (his words) when he switches on any substantial load, ie kettle/oven etc.Thats any lights in parkhome. They just dip for a second when load switched.
No-one else on site has this happening. The swa incomer is connected to a standard meter arrangement. Have not yet had time to check the consumer unit or any other connections.
Since this has been happening since he moved in apparently(about 2 years, should he be too worried by this? Does he have a problem? any ideas please before I rip his home apart??
and should I know what the answer is???? and please, no Dear Dimbo replies!!
