What am I qualified to do?

Hi guys,

I have level 2&3 C&G 2330 and the 17th.

What work can I do privately, without being accredited. Can I sign work off?

and who in your professional opinions is the best governing body to go with, if you mainly want to undertake private domestic jobs?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

you can do any work and issue relevant certs.

but for domestic stuff, your limited to non-notifiable unless you notify to LABC or join a scam

Unfortunately you will need to join a scam ...sorry...scheme eventually , for domestic work, I'd suggest NAPIT or ELECSA . NAPIT look as if they have a membership push on at the moment, will rip you off...oops sorry.. cost you up to

Check with your local building control or controls, they are all different!, if they accept your certs and your notifications fine no need to join a scheme.

I rang my labc a while ago and they didnt understand the question and would accept a cert on any kind of paper! Lazy or understaffed? Who knows.
