None in domestic that I can think of - not since 17th boards removed the need for TT systems

Perhaps a read of On site guide pgs23 & 24 (17th Red!)

3.6.2 application of RCD's

b TT inst

e.g. if lighting circuit, or radial FCU boiler supply,

surface run / or earthed metal conduit dont need 30ma...

but still need 100ma if Zs to high.

try Fig 3.2!? ;)

Ah so you spotted my deliberate typo, its been a long day and I feel like:z:z,

Personally I prefer beef stakes but I meant to say 'removed the need for 100mA Type S rcds, in TT systems. or something like that:^O

hen can e av a spool chicher admint????? :^O :^O

100ma RCDs have less sensitivity than 30ma RCDs, use where there's high nuisance tripping or inductive loads (i.e. industrial situations)

...think I've just stated the obvious :_|

Any RCD above 30mA is used to protect the instalation NOT the user. Hence why you see 100mA, 300mA and 500mA RCD's in industry.

You also see 10mA RCD's in hospitals where there is a greater risk that a smaller current will cause detrimental effects.
