i woke up today and tried to switch my skybox on. but then i realised that it wouldnt turn on. Same issue happened with  my ps4andps3

Ah.....priorities

PISSH3 PISSH4 Skybox
Aww come on, you know these things are the most important, life as we know it would end without them.

I remember being called to a house with an electrical problem, they had no power to cook with, no power to heat with, no lights, and no sockets. The only thing the kids were concerned about was no internet and no computer! It's the same when you have to shut a supply down, mum will quite happily wait to do her cooking, or cleaning, or ironing, or whatever, yet the kids go into panic mode if they've no computer or video game. I remember when they used to shut off the power for several hours in the afternoon, back in the 70's, can you imagine doing it today, thousands of kids being forced to talk to people, or worse still, read a book, or move off the couch, my god what a scary thought, they'd be traumatised for years. lol

I woke up this morning to play on my playstation, but I realised it won't turn on. There was not even a standby light. I also tested my ps3 + skybox and same issue, they both won't power on. I have tested with 5 different a/c power cords in 5 different sockets around my house. My tv works, wifi and my lights work. Mainly everything work except the electronic items that require an A/C cord to power it up. Please help me out as I do not have a clue on what's happened.

Extra Information: When I got another a/c power cord and plugged it into my playstation 3 it made a really quiet noise, like a bomb.

In the UK we do not refer to cables as A/C power cords so where in the world are you?

It makes a difference as in the UK we wire socket circuits in a ring formation, most other countries don't do this.

You could have a faulty circuit and to fix that you would need the assistance of the electrician who has the knowledge and equipment to diagnose the problem.

As I asked in the other thread have you looked in the fuse box?

Yes I have checked the fuse, like I said everything else works fine. It's just the consoles + sky box.
