Hello All, I have a question if I may please ( not lighting but power). To settle a silly disagreement, can someone give an explanation of a "figure of 8" in ring main language?

Split from hi-jacked thread

A ring final circuit that has a branch across it joining two parts of the single ring creating a similar arrangement to the digit eight "8" i.e. Two loops joined to each other, NOT a single loop/ring as in the digit zero "0".
(Ring final circuits are used within dwellings not ring-mains).

Or in testing terms, the incoming line is attached to the outgoing CPC and the outgoing line is attached to the incoming CPC in a figure of 8 manner when testing a ring final.
