Yet another famous company, soon to be - Gone. :(

Woolworths down by me are trading until Christmas and then it shuts it's doors.

It's a shame, I say. :_|

 
I'm saying nothing, when I mentioned Rover Cars in the same position, with thousands of jobs gone , I was verbally smacked down on here by someone who thought their product was rubbish and they deserved to go down the drain.

Those jobs never come back once gone.

I think we all should worry about any company closing. It has got to affect us all. Job cuts mean people spending less which affects us all in one way or another and also my daughter and father in law work part time for woolies.

It sounds like they will get bought out. The chap off of Dragons Den, Theo Phaphphaphaphapha (I am a good speller :) ), was mentioning the strong brand name which makes sense to me.
