hello phil and all, We use drill taps in security installs for mounting vibration detectors to backplates into ip65 boxes with ss m4 security screws , being hex shank they work great for getting into tight spaces/corners with my multi/offset head milwaukee drill

Mods are legends , us mere mortals can only but wish we had you dedication and patience , long live king richard the ninth!!

On the subject of tools, is there any good use for side cutters apart from trimming plastic cable ties! Had to use em at college to fk up cable stripping!!

nothing wrong with your eyes mike j !! its in better condition than most round here , will be bringing all upto date over next year as renovation is ongoing new cabling/circuits , new board/rcbos , sockets where we need them etc
