    Am i right in thinking a 4k7 resistor = 4.7 ohms for example? so i 0k5 resistor would be 0.5 ohms and so on????

    double pole breaker

    If using a double pole, 80A (not that that matters) MCB does it matter if you bring the supply into the bottom of the breaker and the load out the top or vise versa?? no buzz bars involved just simply a cable in and a cable out... thanks

    but surely that means if you measure the core with a micrometer that would give the size of the cable but it does not...

    Random question, What does the size of a cable in mm2 relate to... i can tell for example by looking at a T+E cable that it is 16 mm but what is 16mm? its obviously not the diameter of the cable. sorry if this is a silly question! cheers headbang
