If using a double pole, 80A (not that that matters) MCB does it matter if you bring the supply into the bottom of the breaker and the load out the top or vise versa?? no buzz bars involved just simply a cable in and a cable out... thanks

OK, I stand corrected, I've never seen an 80A MCB that fully complies in a fully traceable manner, with all relevant product standards, and will be guaranteed to meet the requirements of any and all statute law & standards.

poni,

I believe that there are some crossed purposes here, or misunderstandings.

A GE HTi whilst classed as an MCB in their docs I would make an issue of, the module width of an HTi is 24mm, a "normal" mbc is 18mm.

Too late now to take this further, however, an HTi is also not a 60898 device.
