The person who’s been in charge of building the extension and converting the garage to a utility 

I don’t think it’s one that operates in the background, it’s a manrose lp100st 15w extractor fan from screw fix 

The light switch for the utility is on the wall before you open the door going into the utility and the switch for the fan is under a wall unit on the other side of the wall inside the utility 

I was wondering if anyone could advise me, ive recently converted the garage into a utility and all the wiring has been done, ive been advised that under building regs that my extractor fan needs to be wired to the lighting, it’s currently on a separate switch, ive looked through part F but...
