It's not free market when we are forced to export into the grid...

I'm new to solar/batteries and seen the complexity of having to work out the best operator to balance the best deal on import/export. Octopus seems rather convoluted and you need to have a daily spreadsheet to work out if it is any good. Surely a better and fairer system would be for operators...
