Is the following set up possible with a 3 Gang 2 Way Smart Wifi Switch set up (the black glass type touch ones)
One of the 3 switches, switches the loft light on/off
The second one switches a motion sensor outside which is connected to two up/down lanterns on and off plus they have overide...
ok all very valid points and I appreciate the advice I really do. Would you mind advising based on my requirements below on what specific devices and where to get them from ideally to get the best deal as there's a fair amount I'm looking for:
A system in which IF one goes off, they all go...
Okay, very valid points, but the question I was trying to get an answer to was why is this one so much better than the angel? Our angels selling substandards, then they seem like they’ve been around for awhile
Can it connect a network via Wi-Fi and have notifications the same as angel? On my phone? Also can I mix battery operated ones with mains ones? What so wrong with angel out of interest?
Just to say, I’m not planning on mixing, the two smoke alarms are to be removed in preference with the fire angel ones. I would hope since they are network WiFi ones then they will have no bearing on the previous old system which is 15 years old?
hi there, I'm replacing with the powered version of this one:

thanks ! - this is the one I will be replacing it with, the powered mains version though? I'd hope it will just be live nad neutral.

I'm about to order this wired alarm system as it can network but I just went to see how my existing fire alarms are hooked up and there appear to be three wires? What/how would I connect the new one when it arrives? This old one isn't linked tot eh other one on the landing as I know for sure...
I’ll be ordering the one that was mentioned above from @UNG From Amazon right now it will arrive tomorrow so I’ll give you the heads up if it all works. Hopefully fingers crossed! And I take your point About the dimmer 👍
Oh I see then just use the same mains cables from the one I have already? I see the link is for the 24W? so my original calc of 15W was right and this is well within this range? Is that why you have suggested it? Thankyou!
Hi there, this sounds like it might just do the trick? It's not from a dimmer at the moment (maybe in the future I will change it) not necessary at the moment so I won't worry about that aspect.
So you say I need to search for a transformer with a 12 volt constant voltage LED driver?
When you...
I really? well there's one transformer on the side of one of these spots I want to replace and another one to the right of the cooker hood where I have another one of these. The attached shows this transformer and I can see its feeding 3 spots including this MR16 I am trying to sort out.:The...
This is the second set which won't work to replace the current spots here in my kitchen. All they do is flash once quickly. I'm replacing standard older halogen and wanted to use LEDs but for some reason this is still happening.
I've looked above the kitchen unit and can see a transformer? Is...
