If only it were that simple - honestly I wish it was. All 3 conductors were disconnected at the CCU. I swapped to measuring R1 + RN and didn't find any problems. So presumably whatever the problem is is something to do with the CPC. If I get a chance I'll get a rough sketch scanned in later.

A plumber has fitted a Grant Vortex Pro External Combi and then run away without fitting a controller to it. The manual asks for a "single channel 230V with voltage free output contacts" The boiler isolation plug has 5 connectors (CH, HW, E, N, L). So to have a Central Heating controller...

Looking at a house that has floor sockets installed in a few rooms (tiled kitchen floor, living room and hobby room). Is this allowed in a domestic install at the latest regs? Thanks Wiksey
