hi Michael8554, yes it is for efficiency. Both Dimplex and Elnur state that their new heaters are 40% more efficient. Also the temperature for old ones cannot be managed.. it just doubles the electricity usage

Thanks both! yes the flat currently has night storage heaters (old Dimplex ones). Also the Elnur ones are also storage heaters using E7 and 24 x7.

Hi everyone, Please can I request your advice on storage heaters. I need to buy 3 storage heaters for a flat and wanted your opinion on Dimplex Quantum versus Elnur Smart storage heaters. both seem to be offering similar functionality.....Please can you share experience/ make recommendations...
