    yes i agree manator i have tried to explain to the customer that the starter requires manually switching on and off but he wants it to come on half hour or so before he gets home at night etc im thinking i could probably install a timeswitch so that he at least does' n't have to switch it off...

    hi, my customer has a direct on line starter (with green and red push buttons) for his 0.75kw 1ph swimming pool motor but he doesn't want to have to switch it on and off himself is it possible to get a starter that switches itself on and off via a timer any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Hi, I'm going to do some training on installation of PV systems next week. Can anyone who has experience in this field pointt me in the right direction as to what is involved. I like to be prepared and would like to turn up on monday with a basic knowledge of how it all works. Thanks

    thanks zeespark yes i know its a no no ive asked for this favour before and although some are relaxed about it ive also been told it can be very dodgy bloody part p its the only thing holding me back right now i cant get enough work from my contacts in shops/offices etc and really could do...

    im thinking of joining one of the organisations so i can sign off work in domestics but money at moment not good im thinking of going with elecsa as they seem cheapest and on this forum ive seen posts saying they make it easy for you thanks slipshod slapdash

    i applied for a job the other day and had a reply today but the bloke didnt wanna know after he asked if i was nic registered and i told him i am not. he reckons you cant do testing without being registered i have got 2391 and issue certificates from time to time am i right in thinking you...

    i have got regs (17th), Inspection and testing C+G2391 and installation 2360 but i am not part p registered can i go testing or not?
