I'm trying to refit a halogen roof light which has blue and brown wires coming out to the roof fitting, however have forgotten which terminals to connect it to! Can anyone give me a hand working it out! ;)

hmm doesn't unscrew and has a crimp in it annoyingly - so reckon I'll need to cut it. So I guess I'll need to go out and get fresh caps dammit! The other light I was doing just had nice simple wires into the transformer and wires out - none of this nonsense! ]:)

Ok guys, have got a new transformer for the light which should hopefully fix things, however just a quick question - can anyone tell me what the purpose of these plastic caps I found on the wires of the old one? Can't seem to remove the transformer without taking the caps off, so want to know...

Hi folks, will check with a voltmeter then also - to answer your questions, there was a light fitted here using the far left and far right slots. Does this sound like it should?
