    Sounds very complicated , I was under the impression some diy electrical work could be undertaken ,also that if it was more than a little then it needed checking by a qualified electrician  Just unsure how much . Maybe just replacing a plug or socket ..Ahh well never mind . May be easier just...

    I have wired sockets etc in the past , Seems silly that i can run a tv cable legally down the wall but not 4mm twin and earth  .

    I havent purchased the bracket yet  so thanks for the info on that, rather than fitting any sockets , can i cut a hole out behind the tv and use a brush cover then run the tv power cable so it comes out at the bottom  with another brush cover , is this legal ? any things to worry about ?
