    Responsible or not

The owner told me that he had added sockets to the circuit in the past, but i believe they are spurs off spurs from what he told me. Thats why i did not want to touch the existing.

I have been asked to install a new ring main and lighting in someones kitchen, which is getting a re-fit. All legit and above board through building control etc. I do not want to accept responsibility for the existing installation circuits, that have been worked upon by the home owner. My...

I did not get U/U out. The owner of the property did. I was just sent there to have a look at it, not to modify it in any way shape or form. Where i am coming from is that i was expecting to find a nicely set of main intake as per the diagram in the on site guide, but what i found is what i...

Yeah thats what is there. Phase tail going into service fuse. Neutral into service connector block and then a very small earth single from this neutral connector block going to a small C/U

There is two cables going to the service head if thats what you can call it. To me it just looked like the fuse holder part of the service head, where the phase went to and next to that there is a tail block where the neutral went to. There was a really small earth coming from this tail block...

A rating label is located on the underside of the unit, which includes the model name, kW rating and the manufacture date code (ACCEPTABLE FOR WARRANTY REGISTRATION). Inside the unit there is a further product-rating label, which has the same information and also the serial number.

About a year old but god knows where the receipt is. The strange thing is that today i was sent to a job and they had an opal shower aswell and the same thing was happening. Whilst it was happening at the job i was on you could also see the bathroom light dimming every time it happened

My Triton Opal 2 has started to mis-behave. Sometimes when you take a shower it goes really hot and sometimes you hear a click as if it is switching internally and then it goes cold. The low pressure light does not illuminate to indicate a problem there. The cable is more than adequate to...

    Seeking the knowledge

What i mean is: if someone asked me to install a specific piece of equiptment such as a door entry system or sustained emergency lights or a burglar alarm for example. How do you know what you need in terms of materials, Cable type etc. Where do you run your cables to? Like a haynes manual but...
