    Cable Crimps

I'm not too happy crimping solid cores either (although I have.) Was a maintenance spark for some years and we would never crimp solid core cables, particularly in any environment where they may be exposed to vibrations. Sure there will be summink in the regs about it??

    What?..

And me I believe ;) Suppose the 'Missing' photos on milk cartons in the States would constitute the great milk communication revolution. Not to mention the "this is a giraffe/lion/blue whale/rhinoscerous" images we used to get on the milk cartons at school. Don't get me started on...

    Yellow pages

We had a discussion about this on here before and the money I spent on Yellow Pages wasn't worth it (bordering on wasted). I can't speak for other areas but I took a decent sized add out in my 2 local books, it cost me plenty and I struggled to recoup my money from it. If you decide to speak to...

    RCD's as fault protection?

Seem to remember 4Mohms being quoted as an average body resistance during a discussion with inspection and testing tutor. The 30mA (0.003A) and disconnection time values of our RCDs is based on an average body resistance and the time it would take tae kill ye! :z :z:_|O)O) O)

The 6 mil tails and the meter reader

Check out Andy C's pic... I think it would occur to most people that maybe you should get that checked out, electrician or not. I should point out that I have my doubts as to whether some of the guys working for the supply companies up here, installing dp switches, doing meter swapovers etc...
