    Allowed time for commercial eicr

That’s what I am doing. I’m not racing round like a nutter and rushing it. I have been doing that to a degree but after realising it’s not the way to go, I’ve took a step back now and assessed how to move forward.

    Allowed time for commercial eicr

To be honest 25 is a push but if the circuits are easy to find it’s easier to achieve. 20 is probably more realistic

    Allowed time for commercial eicr

Currently doing eicrs is offices and workshops. Massive place. I’m quite conscientious and do a thorough inspection. I’m being asked to do 30 to 40 circuits per day. Plus do the full write up on the tablet including logging the observations and coding them etc. they are even asking for a...

    Work trousers

Can anyone recommend a pair of holster pocket trousers that are not super tight in the legs? All the ones I order seem to be tight in the legs. I used to buy snickers but they are becoming very pricey. Thanks in advance

    Working with other sparks

I’m not after glory mate. Just a quick cheers mate for your work. That’s sound bud. That will do. And I don’t want to be the only one grafting. Nothing demotivates me quicker than feeling unappreciated

    Working with other sparks

Anyone else work on jobs with other sparks who do absolutely nothing and then take all the credit for your work? When you compare what you have done in a day to what they have done. And the difference is night and day. I might be over reacting but it is just how I feel about it. Drives me...

    ECS online test questions

Hi guys I’m looking at booking the online test to renew my Gold card. It says I need a laptop to do it online but I only have an iPad will it be possible to do it on an iPad? Just wondering if anyone else has done this? Also do you pay a separate cost for the card and the test?

What’s a good rate for a Subby CIS?

This is why I won’t go more than an hour. The hourly rates don’t cover the fuel to go further. They barely cover it to go an hour. My rule of thumb is if I can’t drive to a job for one week on a full tank without running out of fuel, it’s too far. And not cost affective to go there.

What’s a good rate for a Subby CIS?

I’ll see how this work goes I got lined up and go from there

What’s a good rate for a Subby CIS?

It’s only at about £18.15 now I think mate. Which is not great unless you get time and half after 40 plus Van.

What’s a good rate for a Subby CIS?

I can do anything mate. I didn’t mean I just do containment. I meant more industrial or commercial work. Rather than twin bashing. I can pretty much go to any job and install most things. And if not straight away I could pick it up. So the experience is there. And the knowledge is there. And...

What’s a good rate for a Subby CIS?

I agree to be fair. I can’t push it to the point that I don’t get the work. But I could probably negotiate a bit of travel time or fuel allowance. I’m in the process of setting up a job that will pay time and half after 40. So that should bump it up slightly. It’s all local work and long term...

What’s a good rate for a Subby CIS?

I sort of knew that already but it’s getting the companies I work for to pay it. They typically only wana pay around £23 an hour and only want you to do 8 or 9 hours.

What’s a good rate for a Subby CIS?

Only local. I’ll do 8 to 10 hours a day. Plus the hour commute each way.
