OK. I built a large garage/mancave next to my house a couple of years ago. Mancave part has comfy seating running water, electricity etc and now (thanks to 25mm conduit I ran under the concrete from house when I built it) I have a cat 5e cable and a coax which will reach to the sky box in the...

Thanks for all the suggestions. lark rise to Candlewick? I dont think so. Designated survivor, I had the flu  couple of years ago and we had access to Netflix and as I was up most nights I made my way through that series. Very good. Watched most of the abandoned engineering, how is it done...

It's elf 'n safety gone mad I tell you

you are not supposed to work on live equipment unless its 'reasonably practicable' thats what I was always told. In reality on a breakdown with production managers on your back, how are you supposed to fault find without doing 'live testing'. If you are not competent enough to open a panel up...

    How are others managing ?

Amazing isnt it. A&E depts are empty. how are people managing? and why can't they manage like that when this is over? NHS will be fragile for a while after all this is over. Very strange and I wonder if and when we will get any sense of normality back.

they are still getting ££££s from us from licence fee and not paying staff as much, so they should be able to put some decent stuff on.
