    Have you dropped all socket fronts? You may have a spur off to underneath/outside that is bolted to the chassis?

    You could threaten a poor review but I suspect it would get lost and not posted? Had they drilled the holes a little deeper they could have left a coil of flex behind the light for removing lights.

    Sorry if it’s just me, but surely anyone installing earth rods should be competent enough to know if it’s installed on both the correct vicinity and correctly? Or at least capable enough to ask?

    It’s the same earthing systems at both ends so no problem ie TT at both.

    Have you done a ramp test on rcbo? Have you measured earth leakage on circuit?

    The cheaper ones are very good and used them for years with little issue, they are somewhat unsightly if not in a large open area to some though, so swapped to using the steinel nb3000, which is very good, it also has a function that can be used if the lights are only required for -late nights...

    And I suspect at least once you have climbed without 3 points of contact. Whether you care to admit to it is a different thing altogether. There is more than one way to ascend a ladder and keep three points of contact. Which with your years of experience I suspect you know.
