Well this is where I’m confused as to be fair the customer only has 3 phase circuit going in the rest are just lights and sockets and a couple of spare ways for anything additional in the future so no massive spec , but the supplier has written this on the supply   So would you say that’s...

HAES SYSTEMS SURVEYOR FIRE ALARM PROBLEM -- HELP

I would say looking at the video that the sounders have been disabled and not faulty. You can see in the video the disablement light is lit up . On this system you can’t disable individual circuits so the sounders disabled disables all sounder circuits

You are a serious idiot t be fair, I never once said it was from the cables it was too show the bitumen which dno confirmed was from the cable, now it's not on a joint or service head its on a bend in a cable that runs at height from dno fuse at approx 20ft in height and then runs for approx 35...

No that is where the bitumen has fallen from the overhead cables, cables are approx 8 metres high up wall and that's what has fell down in last 24 hours

Right guys and girls just a quick question, customer reported a fair amount of bitumen on the floor and wall below some old supply cables. I took a quick look and was hard to see where exactly from as there's a large bunch of cables, now they called western power out to take a look and they said...

No risk assessment or asbestos survey. Is this a norm for an electrical company in England?

For nearly all my commercial customers they always ask for a risk assessment and method statement as well as cdm plan and show me a copy of asbestos register

    Wanted steeple mcb

I would be willing to buy a bottle of something for him if I honestly thought it would change his mind, but unfortunately he's not budging on this and I would like to not lose further work from him by pushing much harder.  Will have another word with him Monday when I take his certificate over...

He has the receipt for the shower and packaging from it , I am willing to do all the work for him if he gives me the go ahead to pursue this against B&q , but if he insists he doesn't want to then it's out of my hands

    Wanted steeple mcb

The thing is the customer has proof that the old shower was 8kw and therefore not like for like which is even more proof against B&q but my hands are tied

    Wanted steeple mcb

Well went there today and carried out works as requested by customer, B&q did not leave a electrical installation certificate as as far as they are concerned they changed a shower which was years old that they are saying was a 10.2kw for a new style 10.2kw as per customers instructions and...
