The DB change cert is very confusing. You are supposed to only certify just the DB but end up doing half EIC & EICR. To do a cert for just your DB then the only test results should realy just be the supply from the meter to the DB. If you have replaced like for like breakers them why...

What im saying is the EIC will NEVER be completed by said other company. And surely a completed EIC which my company has not received yet,  should come 1st before the PIR. For a start i had to fit bonding clamps for the unconnected water bond.  Who knows what else could have been left unfinished.

They are not interested in getting the EIC.  The PIR will suffice.    Does anybody need to be registered or qualified these days,  just get another company to PIR your install after.  Thats what my comments are about.

Sorry to be a tad anal (when did that phrase come out?),  but its not a ruler, it is a rule. The tape measure is there to prove that things were not in fact bigger in the old days ( like wagon wheels etc )
