    Cable Sizes

    What size t&e are you all using with the new derating factors ? , i was thinking on using 2.5 but on 20a rings to avoid the expence of 4mm t&e , also what are you paying for cable at the moment ? , i had some prices today as follows 1.0 t&e

    17th cable sizes

    What do you peeps think about the derating of t&e in thermal insulation in the 17th ? , my niceic area guy told me that it will have to be 4mm rings for 32a 0r 4mm 20a radials for power and 10mm run in conduit for showers over 40a. What joy !!

    First i would drill a 5mm hole in the side and the use an 8mm long 5mm bolt to lug an earth lead , if this was not poss due to number of cables in tube i would either use a jubille clip or bonding clamp depending on space , i have also used push fit adapters which will take a 20mm brass bush ...
