    Din Rail Enclosure

    Hi all, A customer of mine has had a distribution board built, using a 4 rail din enclosure.  mcb's and rcd's on one rail. main switch on another. Is there any regulation about the building and testing that should have been done during construction or am I imagining there is?? Thanks

    Transportable Unit

    So here is a question. Let's say I've got a portacabin type building that is being prepared to be taken to a site. Once at the site it is going to be permanently sited, set in the ground, never to move for at least five years. Is it still a transportable building? Any opinions??

    Rcd Tripped

    Had a fault call this afternoon.  Customer had an RCD that had tripped and wouldn't reset.  Volex 80A 30mA rcd Fault was traced to a neutral-earth short on one of the circuits protected by the RCD.  Sorted that out, no drama. So, with no load on the RCD, (busbar removed) but the load-side...
