Ra greater than 200 ohms on TT system - what classification code (also main bond incorrect)

Yes I've worked on plenty of TT systems. The post has always stated Ra apart from 1 instance above. More interesting though is referring back to the regs table 41.5 specifically refers to Zs readings not Ze or Ra. As all my Zs are in the order of 170ohms the requirements are in fact met and...

Ra greater than 200 ohms on TT system - what classification code (also main bond incorrect)

Correct. The Gas and Water enter the building side by side so there is very little difference in the readings back to the DB. Just proving there is continuity and no plastic along the way. ---------- Post Auto-Merged at 07:13 ---------- Previous post was made at 07:03 ---------- Thanks for...

Ra greater than 200 ohms on TT system - what classification code (also main bond incorrect)

Probably not - its a long way off 1667 ohms. Its a place of work for 20 people rather than a shed so some difference there.

Ra greater than 200 ohms on TT system - what classification code (also main bond incorrect)

agreed but the recommendation is there for the reason that the connection can be unstable if over 200 AND as the conditions are excellent at the moment then I can only see it getting higher not lower. ---------- Post Auto-Merged at 17:46 ---------- Previous post was made at 17:39 ----------...

Ra greater than 200 ohms on TT system - what classification code (also main bond incorrect)

I have done an EICR today on a small office. Its a single phase install across two Consumer Units/Db's, TT system to a single earth rod. It was rewired in 2005 and I have the original NICEIC install certificate to reference. It was signed off with an Ra of 297ohms. I'm getting 277 ohms and...

Increased earth leakage on installs with Solar PV

I don't install PV myself but I now have two customers where I have done work and installed split load CU's (2 * 30mA RCDs) as part of the work who have since had Solar PV installed and they are now experiencing increased nuisance tripping since the PV was installed (all anecdotal so far). I...

What Fault Code for Incorrect Phase sequence?

Hmmm - glad to see its not a silly question. The post has pretty much gone as my thought process did... Got to be a C2 because its wrong and that's not acceptable but then so what nobody is in danger, everything is working. The risk is that when another change is made a phase sensitive motor...

What Fault Code for Incorrect Phase sequence?

What EICR Fault code are you guys using for incorrect phase sequence? The incoming supply is correct but L1 and L2 have been swapped on the feed from the supply head to the main distribution board to 2.1.3 and then this error is consistent to the 5 sub boards except one. Various pieces of...
