its a ideal classic wall mounted, fanned, balanced flue gas boiler

my boiler has tripped the fuse box switch in garage and when i try and flick it back it sparks a little and wont let me do it.. i dont know how long ago it tripped as boiler is only used in winter.. do i need a electrition or a heating engineer .. any advice welcome... thanks
