    Blow up hot tub

What type of weather proof extension would you recommend to run from my outdoor socket to this weatherproof box? Thanks

    Blow up hot tub

I’ll be fitting a double external socket. I’ll have 3 plugs. One for hot tub, and 2 for decorative lighting for pergola. What would be the best option for the 3rd plug as don’t think outdoor socket would fit a plug adaptor.

    Blow up hot tub

Can anyone recommend the best type of outside socket to use for this hot tub lead. Would I need rcd one or just normal one as hot tub flex seems to have rcd protection shown in pic. My consumer unit is rcd protected also. Was going to tap into an existing socket that has not been spured already...

Thought there was much more selection in the 100mm. There was a few in 150mm but not a lot were getting great reviews 👍🏻

It’s called STERR. Was a 150mm I needed and wasn’t a great selection at that size. Thanks for the link 👍🏻

    Extractor fan connections

Hi got a new extractor and it comes with pre wired cable. What’s the safest option how to connect it to the existing old cable and have the connections above celing. Or is it safe enough to connect it to term block and wrap it up in insulation tape?

Actually got a good idea what l’m doing. Not a pro but please correct me if I’m wrong. Last time I checked this was a DlY forum is it not, where you’re supposed to get some sort of useful help. You seem to give great expert advice on here btw 👏🏻

    Downlight spacing

They came as a pack of 3. And didn’t want to pick intergrated ones so choose ones with bulbs so if to bright or to dull l could change the bulbs. But after checking google I came across all sorts of distances for fitting them away from walls and creating shadows etc hence this post this is why...

    Downlight spacing

If I’m up against joists, am I good just to drill through them to get cable through? Thanks for everyone’s help

    Downlight spacing

They will be spaced apart different as going to have to space them between extractor fan and air vent
