Location of FCU for Shower Pump

Hello guys At first, I was locating the FCU for the Shower Pump outside the bathroom due to the environment. On reflection, I am now feel I am able to locate it in the bathroom cupboard as it will be more than 600mm beyond the requirement of the Regs. Please see the sketch I have attached...

    Mechanical protection

Thanks to everyone. I agree I may be over-reacting.  My first work on electricity without training was very involved, and at the end I fitted the Consumer Unit with tails dangling for the Board to come and connect. Cable for Salamander Shower pump

Many thanks to all for your responses. As two of you mentioned, I was in fact over cooking the problem.  I have now gone through checking things out. The boiler temperature was much too high when I first checked, hence my concern about the heating effect on the cable. And I had not yet decided...

    Cable for Salamander Shower pump

Hello Sharpend. I only did rough calculations with correction factors, using length of (1.5mm) cable  starting at CU;  ambient temperature where cylinder is located (closed cupboard),  and length of cable exposed to that temperature within the cupboard. Whilst correction factors allow for...
