hi there just completed my am2 yesterday. everything went well except the easiest bit safe isolation. i didnt prove the martin dale before testing the ring circuit i realised at the end of that test but was to late. it through me off, i then i left the key in the padlock when testing the motor...

thanks i had a read at that but it doesnt say a bout the motor or the testing rcd. for the motor i would think you bring your three phases to the contactor then use 1 for the control circuit but im not sure if this is how you do it

hi im looking more help on the am2. was wanting to know how you test the rcd without triping it. and to you test the motor like any other light etc. also the landlord how you connect it and what exactly does it do. and how do you get your three phases to the motor.

cheers thanks for the help. what did you think of the test overall. are they fussy about the pyro and is it worth a lot of points, thats the thing i think il have trouble with. would be grateful any other tips you have

thanks for the reply but do you lose points for using the couplar. when asking about the emergency light i meant does the key switch kill power to the emergency and the normal light ie do you bring the mains to the key switch then loop of the output for the two way

hi i have another few questions bought the am2. in the conduit are you not allowed any couplers at all without losing points, i would say i am good at steel conduit and dont have any problems in work but i think puting two 90s and a set at fixed measurements would be awkward enough especially...
