    BONDING LPG CYLINDERS??

    Hob! The house is oil fed but the hob comes from the cylinders on the side of the garage which get refilled when needed. I wouldnt say the were extraneous depending on what the gas engineer pipes it up with?

    Can't get earth rod under 200ohms

    rods spaced less than two rod-lengths apart will interfere with each other because their effective resistance areas will overlap. The overlap increases the net resistance of each rod, making the grounding electrode system less effective than if the rods were spaced farther apart.

    The mcb has failed. The rating and disconnection time. Nothings wrong with them but ive got a high PFC and they can only take 6KA and the regs say it shouldnt be like that. The mcb would go.

    because of the amount of current coming in with regards to the KA rating of the mcb's. Like you said earlier, an im the same, i dont like the PFC being higher. Scares me abit.

    I have got a grasp of it, i do them everyday. Ive just never seen this before. Ive made a balls up on my part of forgetting that i would still have a high fault current across phase and neutral regardless. Easy stuff, shouldv known better. Sorry guys for time wasting.
