    cooker sink placement

I assume you mean a free standing cooker/range, I doubt there is any reg covering this only common sense, I'd say minimum 300mm unit between the two but some kitchens you can't fit everything in like that. If it's the only place it can go, put the drainer side nearest to the cooker, at least...

    Lighting Circuit Blowing........

The first thing i'd do is ask, what happened just before the MCB tripped? Lamp Blew, putting up my new light of course that relies on the circuit working originally and the customer being truthful like DD says have you tested all switch lives?

Got the date back for my NAPIT assessment...

I've just done my assessment with Elecsa and it really was nothing to worry about. As long as you know your 17th and Part P stuff. The fact that you test on a regular basis should mean it's a doddle for you. Remember they want your money so it's a benefit for both of you to pass. My bloke was...

    points served

I have to say I'd agree with 13 amps per socket outlet (be it single or double). That's what I understand from the catalogue http://www.electrika.com/products/m/MAN-2005/pdfcat/ashley-07-6-5.pdf Just my opinion of course, Taz
