    your right of course,but there would still be no 'explosion' i think rcd is the way to go as well as reducing impedance as much as poss

    16mm is plenty if you use the adiabatic equation its amazing how small your cpc needs to be we always overkill on the cpc as we do with just about every cable we fit for example in a house with half a dozen or so lights on a circuit we use 1.5mm as standard when 1.0mm is still overkilling
